Describe some familiar item, event, or relationship in terms of the Classical sciences of humors, elements, and astrology.
For example, you might look at the courses in our Feast and work out how hot and dry seasonings offset the cold and wet ingredients. You might also consider how the phase of the moon and alignment of the planets influence our humors, and what foods we should encourage or avoid to prevent an imbalance. Extra credit for working in the Scala Naturae or the liturgical calendar for the day. For an example, please look at this Feast Booklet from Buckston's Birthday 2017.
Another example might consider that traditionally 12th Night is the evening before the Feast of the Three Kings. You could explain in terms of humors and the Great Chain of Being why the Magi brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh instead of earthworms and toadstools.
The most impressive entry will win a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble.
